Hello
For some time now, when I open a file from Internet Explorer, a 2nd SolidWorks opens. Where can I take action to open the file in the open SolidWorks session ?
It seems to me that it started with the commissioning of the EPDM on my substation, but I don't see why. It is normally unrelated.
Config: SolidWorks 2013 SP4.0; Windows 7; EPDM
It has a connection.
By working with EPDM, SW is connected to this manager continuously.
It therefore allows itself to open files only contained in the EPDM directory.
When you open a file other than by the EPDM explorer, it is considered by SW as out-of-box and it therefore opens a new SW for non-EPDM docs.
On the other hand, sorry but I don't know a method to open on 1 single SW.
What do you call the EPDM explorer? By SolidWorks or by Windows Explorer, then the EPDM folders?
Because I have the same result when opening files in EPDM as I do outside EPDM.

Hello
There may be a solution:
In Windows Explorer:
1- you right-click on a solidWorks file
2- you choose "Open With"
3- you choose "Choose program.... "
4- you click on "SolidWorks Launcher" and leave the box "always in use.... "
