Hello
I have just made the plans of my house on Draftsight in 2D and I would like to know if there is a free software that allows you to recover the 2D (dwg) of Draftsight to transform it into 3D but in a simple way.
Since I don't intend to repeat the experience, I don't intend to buy software just for an intervention!
I don't need a very sophisticated software (it's just to have an idea of how it will look), and I would like not to have to redraw all of them on a new medium (like sketchup or equivalent).
Thank you in advance for all your help.
For free, there is FreeCAD.
But if you're not used to 3D, it might be complicated, regardless of the software.

Maybe it's just enough to put it in! In any case, thank you very much. I'm going to try it.

I didn't say undoable.
Once you have chosen your software, do the associated tutorials (if possible those of the editor) before starting to work on your project, to assimilate the vocabulary of the application and the way to do it.
Unfortunately, it is up to the user to adapt to the software.
Don't hesitate to come back and ask questions. Even if we don't use FreeCAD, we can try to answer you by analogy.
Hello
Too bad since homeByMe 2019 we can export to Drafsight.
The opposite is not possible, we use a jpg image in the background.
But honestly, if it's just for a quick rendering of walls and furniture, it's easier to use than mechanical CAD software.
