Yippee! We have just reached 90,000 members on the platform, thank you !! The family of 3D designers is constantly growing!
"The more designers there are, the more we learn!"
Congratulations to the members who make sure that every day the users of the CAD solutions are helped and unlocked. Congratulations to beginners and experts, amateurs and enthusiasts to bring this beautiful community to life!
Created in 2013, Lynkoa has seen its community grow visibly and will soon celebrate its 10th anniversary ! Will we be 100,000 members celebrating his birthday?!
A little poll: And you, how long have you been on Lynkoa? Why do you come to the platform? To your keyboards! ;)
Personally, it's been about 4 years since I discovered the platform. Following a professional retraining (physical problem related to my former job, boilermaker welder), I bounced back on an 8-day CAD draughtsman training!!!!!!!!! And precisely, I had access to this "Lynkoa" platform which helped me enormously! And still is today. As was mentioned recently during the ranking of the "top 5 contributors", help and transmission is something essential in our business and elsewhere! I think we really have to keep that in mind. Here are my feelings in a few lines.
Thank you for your feedback! I'm so glad the platform can help you so much! This beautiful community maintains a very strong link between users, which we really need at the moment! Let's continue to help each other!!
Member for 1503 days (please note this changes every day)
I came at the invitation of an eminent colleague who is flying a magnificent flag of Anne of Brittany because the forum where I was in decline was in decline. Probably because he didn't rely on a reseller (a VAR in English).
Relying on a reseller is important but on condition that it is active like Lynkoa Visiativ because my reseller at the time never wanted to animate the forum (competition with the hot-line :-([ ) and as there was never an answer he was deserted. By the way, I found here with great pleasure some strong maouss who were present on the other forums.
A forum that would not be animated is like the National Library of France (BNF for those in the know) which would only be open once a year between 6:30 and 7:15 in the morning. A whole knowledge and an immense collective intelligence that is not accessible.
I have been following Lynkoen for 2254 days and was invited by Clementine who had looked for me on another site "Forum-cao.fr" which then merged with Lynkoa to become "the largest French-speaking community of 3D designers and designers with 35,000 members to its credit" at the time. And now we have reached 90000 members, what an evolution. It is true that for the past two years I have not been too present because of a change of company with more responsibilities and less time but I still come almost every day to see what is going on without having the time to dwell on it; I'll try to change that...
It's been 3155 days (since 07/06/13) that I've been connecting to the platform! I can't do without it anymore, every day I learn something that is useful or not in my activity and that's what makes me come to consult the forum. And the pompom is that when I encounter a problem, I ask my question and many answers come quickly! What a joy not to feel alone in the face of a problem thanks to all these goodwill!
I thank all the members of the community but also you who keep this platform alive.
Just like @fred arrived in 2013 (April 12th), the forum has evolved quickly and thanks to the community, I have been able to progress in totally unknown areas such as vba macros in solidworks.
Thanks to these in-house developments, we are now saving precious seconds and applying this to many of the designers in our company.
Thank you to everyone who helped me and everyone who will help me in the future.
Present for 2553 days, at first a little by chance... Following the acquisition of myCADtools by the company I was in.
Then, access to libraries of parts, hardware and much more...
And finally, this remarkable mutual aid. Every day I take a look at the forum, I learn from the questions asked by others, I help when I can answer and I get help when I need it.
This platform also helped me find work after a somewhat "chaotic" start, it's easier to arrive in a new company when you already know the software it uses (SW + myCADtools).
Thank you to all those who keep this platform alive.
P.S: one more little effort, the 100000 mark is not far away...
I am delighted and almost moved to read all these beautiful comments! All these feats are only possible thanks to you, your know-how and your magnificent sense of mutual aid, so congratulations to all!
