About the V5Automation.chm file

Hello

When making macros in CATIA, the V5Automation.chm file is very useful because it allows you to find the names of the functions that can be used in the macros. Indeed, the recording of macros does not allow you to go back to the functions.

On the other hand, I just realized that I only have the V5Automation.chm for CATIA r19 and not for the r21. However, I would like to find the name of functions related to the Sketcher Tracer module which is a recent module (which must have arrived with the r21).

I had heard that this V5Automation.chm file is still in the directory where CATIA is installed but it is rather well hidden.

Will you be able to find this V5Automation.chm file ? I would like to find the one associated with my r21 version.

I found this famous file. You have to go to this directory:

V5R21\WIN_B64\CODE\BIN

It should be under:

C:\Program Files\Dassault Systèmes\B21\win_b64\code\bin\V5Automation.chm

Otherwise run the search under C windows should find them all
