Hello, anticipating the acquisition of a screen very soon, I find myself facing a dilemma.
My budget is about 600 euros to get a 100Hz mini IPS or VA panel, 27" mini and + than FULL HD.
After several searches I came across the aorus AD27QD which has these characteristics with an HDR
But here's the thing, I can get this Asus ROG Swift PG348Q screen for the same amount (600 euros). The latter has G-Sync (the real one) but does not have HDR :(
So, I would like to have your opinion on the matter and therefore on the importance of HDR
What do you want to do with this Solidworks and 3DSMax or Gaming screen???
Full HD ????? Apart from watching only certain films , what's the point??
Especially what graphics card do you have and also which processor!
[HS On Mode]
Personally, I recently changed to two BenQ 32" ( https://www.benq.eu/fr-fr/monitor/designer/pd3200q/specifications.html ) dedicated designers and in particular for an adaptation to SolidWorks. Otherwise I would have taken a post-production video screen https://www.benq.eu/fr-fr/monitor/video-post-production/pv3200pt.html [HS /OFF Mode]
Hello This site gives details about HDR: https://gtemps.com/hdr/ There are only 4/6 screens compatible with True HDR10 for now, the rest is just. And they cost more than 1000€
So leave HDR aside for now, and focus on other features of the screen.
