Can I enable or disable an operation via a property on SmartPropertie?

 

If so, how?

An operation? You mean a function of the tree?

Smartproperties is just to manage properties and at worst rename the list of welded bodies, but I don't think we can do more.

I wanted to activate or deactivate an operation (example: extrusion) via Smartpropertie.

Agree with you, SmartProperties is not made for that.

 

What was your need exactly? Maybe we have to look elsewhere.

I wanted to enable or disable a material removal operation based on a height.

 

In the end, I created two families of pieces.

 

A family with the OP and a family without the OP.

You would have to see in detail what you want to do, but there are also a lot of possibilities with equations (SW), or go through a family of parts and enter equations in the Excel sheet.
