Your edrawing doesn't work at all under EPDM, right?
Or when you preview you have a Bitmap image and then you have to click in the window to switch to Edrawing mode?
Hello
SolidWorks Explorer must be installed.
If it is already installed, try uninstalling it and then re-installing it.
It is available here:
http://www.solidworks.fr/sw/products/10572_FRA_HTML.htm
If it doesn't work and the machine is in 64 bits, try downloading the 32 bits version of SolidWorks Explorer or Edrawings.
Edit: if there are several versions of Edrawings on the machine, you have to uninstall them all, then repair the EPDM installation, from the Start Menu > Control Panel > Programs, then a right-click: repair.
For me there is no need for SolidWorks Explorer (SW Explorer is for PDW Worksgroup and not EPDM).
you have a Bitmap image and you want to switch to Edrawing systematically.
From an EPDM Explorer:
Tab:
and Dcheck "Show Bitmap for SolidWorks files"
FYI: Personally we skipped this box to get a quick preview (especially for the visualization of the assemblies), and if necessary we clicked on the bitmap to activate the Edrawing.
(see attached file)
@flegendre certainly gave the solution.
That said, @flegendre, it seems to me that we had a problem with a workstation (Jérémy F's in Nantes) which did not have the right version of E-Drawing, which prevented the preview on EPDM. Do you remember that? In your HotLine history perhaps?
Yes indeed it speaks to me. The hotline had struggled quite a bit.
I don't have access to the history anymore, so I can't check what was done.
