I'm looking to display a cgr file present in my assembly on a plan view. Is this possible?

The CGR file is a catia file
The problem is that this ( saves the visualization of a design, but it only stores the geometric information required to visualize the model instead of all the CAD data.) (Source openfile.net) which seems to mean that there will probably be missing information to switch to 2D and certainly no odds during the transfer.
The only solution would probably be to convert the catia file to SW if possible to have the MEP.

Thank you for your response and apologies for the delay in returning. In fact my CGR piece is only here for decoration, I don't get anything on it when I put it in plan. I just want it to show up in my drawing to show that there's a room here. In fact it will just be a "photo" to stick on the drawing at the place where it is placed in my assembly. Is this possible?
