Displaying Edges on a Drawing View

One question, do parts that do not display in the DSO's SOM display in the room SOMs???

Hello

By clicking on your view and going to "other properties", you will find different tabs:

"View properties" ==> Check that "show envelope is checked"

"Hide/Show Components" ==> Check that the list is empty

Hide/Show the bodies" ==> Ditto

Hello

This problem we have already arrived on section views, it is inexplicable and we have not found any solutions except to trace the missing lines. But in your case, you could change your appearance from 3D to white and insert it on your plan (syst. D ; ) ).

Yes, the parts are displayed in the part drawings, no worries...

As written above, in shaded image mode, it is also displayed. So I was thinking of putting all my views in shaded image and working like that, but the problem with this solution is the DWG export which doesn't work.

Have you tried creating a new drawing and reinserting the views?

Yes, I tried, it's the same misery.

Are you under maintenance??? If so, contact your reseller who may have a solution to bring you because he can see if there are any open tickets on the subject and if solutions have been found....

I am no longer under a maintenance contract.

I haven't read all the proposals of my colleagues, but if you haven't been asked; subversion of SP are you??? As you are no longer under maintenance you must have had the SP4... If not, she may BE able to correct the problem.

I'm under 2016 SP5. Last update of this version I think.

Quite after the SP5 of 2016 it's 2017...

And convert the view into a sketch? It's not great, but if it can help...

I tried to convert to a sketch but it doesn't add anything (and inevitably I lose the dependent views since it's my main view...)

I have the impression that it's a big bug and that I'm not in a good way to provide the 2D drawing...

Seeing that when opening the file the image freezes for a few seconds without displaying the layers (only in black lines) and shows my top view (the one that is causing the problem) correctly. I think maybe the problem is with the layers, so I've deleted them all, but the problem persists.

Now I just made a DWG export of a completely different drawing with an iso view in shaded image mode.

This last view was correctly exported as DWG displaying in deleted hidden rows....

So I try (again...) to do this operation with my corrupted drawing but solidworks doesn't export the shaded images at all in this specific case.... It's infuriating!

I just tried by making a takeaway composition in zip => I opened it on my colleague's computer, it doesn't work either. Even by removing the drawing and starting a new one it creates the same problem...
