When you make a circular repetition after making a hole using the drilling wizard, the corresponding note on the drawing displays all the information about the holes made :
No. of occurrence x Dia Drilling Depth M16 6H 16.1 x 90° Top Face...
Namely:
<NUM_INST> x <MOD-DIAM> <hw-tapdrldia> <HOLE-DEPTH> <hw-tapdrldepth>
<HOLE-SINK><MOD-DIAM> <hw-nscsdia> X <hw-nscsang>, <hw-msgnearside>
Why, when we carry out a material removal (hole type) and then a circular repeat, we don't have this type of note?
With us, it displays the dimensions independently, with on one side the number of holes, on the other the diameter etc... Is it possible to group all this together in the form of a single note as with the drilling assistant?
Finally, is this famous note editable in a file somewhere to apply long-term modifications, such as wanting to display
X ØX Holes on ØX
Instead of
<NUM_INST> x <MOD-DIAM> <hw-tapdrldia> <HOLE-DEPTH> <hw-tapdrldepth>
On the tutorial, only holes made with the drilling wizard followed by a repeat are used.
I was asking, in the case where you make a hole by removing material through everything (or a rectangle whatever) followed by a repetition, if it was possible to have the same type of note as the one generated by the drilling wizard example "8 holes Ø22 on Ø240".
Moreover, the system of drilling tables does not correspond to the needs of our business, thank you anyway.
Anyone know how to set up these notes (SLDBOM file I think?)
<NUM_INST> x <MOD-DIAM> <hw-tapdrldia> <HOLE-DEPTH> <hw-tapdrldepth>
The software works like this, so you have to use it properly, and go in its direction.
A material removal by sketch (even if a circle is drawn) will not be taken into account in the MEP with "symbol for drilling".
You have to "get into the good habit in 3D" of using the Drilling Wizard to make these holes.
The modification of the file that manages these parameters has already been mentioned in another question in the forum, and the conclusion was: we don't touch this file, because it's a source of problems behind it.
Very heavy on my part, we switch from Creo to Solidworks so we have some bad habits, it was just a matter of making a note, and clicking directly on the dimensions that we want to appear in them, the tolerances are therefore included, unlike our initial method which was to create a note using a variable that made the gathering we wanted...
I don't know if I was clear, but pb solved thank you for the answers and probably see you very soon :)
