I have an assembly made up of several parts, then a nomenclature related to this assembly.
One of my rooms has 4 configurations.
I would like to have 4 lines in my nomenclature for these 4 configurations (only for this part!)
Do you have an idea?
The only solution I have found so far is to insert the part 4 times with a special assembly configuration...
Hello
Have you tried fiddling with BOM options? "Grouping part configurations" (see photo)

Yes, but since the part is only inserted once (with a config), it only has one line in the bill of materials

Hello, there is no other solution to my knowledge except to export to Excel and add rows.

Do you have to put the 4 pieces in your assembly
These pieces can be wired for a nicer visual

One solution may be to create a configuration specifically for the BOM so that these parts do not appear in the original 3D.

So that's what I do.
I can even keep them in my config and put them in "Hidden", it still appears in the nomenclature.
So the only solution is a priori to insert the part 4 times then change the config and hide the parts

Yes, it's the only walkthrough in the assembly
either wired or hidden as you choose (in wired they exist ;-) have the tracks)
and they will exist in your nomenclature

In the part in question, in the properties of each configuration, simply select the "Configuration name" option in "BOM options"
See attached example (2015!)

If you don't want to insert new parts, you have to add the lines by hand in the BOM: right-click/Insert/Line above or below.
But the best is certainly as proposed, and as you do, to insert the other 3 pieces, or even to make a linear repeat.
