Hello
I need to make a part impression in another: so I use the CUT OUT function which works very well.
On the other hand, I would like to add a little play in the footprint otherwise my part will get stuck!!
Thank you
Thomas

Hello

Hello
That's not really what I was looking for.
In fact, my question is a continuation of the one I asked a few days ago: http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/creo/comment-utiliser-fonction-trim
Once I have my footprint, I want to dig it a little bit deeper to have enough play. And when I do edit definition I don't have a front shift option.
Thank you
Hello
To offset this surface set and put play on it, you have to copy and paste the surfaces to be offset. Then select the compound surface thus created and finally shift it. Then fuse or solidify it.
We can also offset a set of solid surfaces, with the offset function, third icon expand the function. Select the surfaces with the shift to the parting line.
Or scale your share used to make the imprint...
There you go!
The problem is that I don't have the surface module...
But the solution of changing the scale of the room is fine! I tested it and it works well. It's just a little more difficult to master the game.
Thank you
