In my company, we have been using the Revision Tables for years, but since the 2013 version, we have been facing a small problem. When we edit a cell, for example the date, or the definition of the change, the line adjusts as closely as possible to the height. It forces us to pull on the cell to enlarge it and in the end have cell heights defined a bit on the fly and not necessarily coherent from one shot to another.
This is particularly annoying because we don't manage the date of the plans via properties (unlike many things in our cartridges) and therefore we often have to make changes on the revision table.
Is it related to a new SW13, a bug? What can I do to return to behavior as in previous versions?
yes, I see that I can for example adjust the height of all the lines and then freeze that height.
So that solves the problem of this plan. I could also take the time to work on my document templates in this direction so that the new plans are correctly set and certainly I will do it (.slddrw and the revision table file).
However, we work a lot by duplicating similar cases (on which this problem arises). While it is possible that I will take the time to do this on each of my plans on the cases I deal with, I doubt very much that my colleagues will do it. In the end, we will always have a lot of badly configured plans.
What bothers me is that it had been working perfectly for years and that when the 2013 was installed, this "bug / feature" appeared without me finding a possibility to fix it in a simple and general way.
So I looked at the Axemble tools, especially Integration, but I can't find anything like that in the possibilities of actions.
This problem already exists on solidworks 2012, for the set you just have to go to Option, Document Property, then in the table part, you have to disable "used the model settings.
I did the test to see if it still works since 2012 compared to our tables:)
This is a blank shot. All you have to do is edit the date or something else for the line to adjust in height to the text (and as a result the revision tables are no longer homogeneous).
I'm also thinking of an option that is a problem, but I looked in the options without success (it goes fast given the few settings there are on the tables).
But you just have to lock all the line heights in the table of the plan concerned before making a change, otherwise no worries it will not change on its own.
