SolidWorks ScanTo3D Mesh Gap Analysis

Hello

I have a point cloud file that corresponds to a reference shape. I have a point cloud corresponding to the scan of this object. My goal is to compare the scan with the reference form.
I'm going to use ScanTo3D from Solidworks.
I import the scanned point cloud, I create the mesh. So far, there is no problem. I do the same for the reference file.
But when doing the "Mesh-Mesh" deviation analysis, I have to select in a first zone my reference mesh and in a second the mesh I want to compare. Problem: I can't select a mesh outside of the file, and I can't import a mesh into another file. What to do?

Hello

Is it not possible to import a second mesh into the file?

Solidworks does not offer the ability to import anything into the file.
In assembly the ScanTo3D plugin is unusable,
I tried to save one of the two files as a part and import the part, but the mesh doesn't appear.

However, it can divide your mesh into several parts for more details.
