Animation Solidworks

Hi all

I have a question about animation in Solidworks. I want to make 3D video montages (trailer style, mini film...) of 2-3 min (person walking, a robot moving in a room, a ship fight...). I don't think Solidworks is made for that, but it's the 3D software I know best and use every day. So I was wondering if it was possible to do this kind of animation and if there were tutorials or whatever. For the moment I haven't found anything :(

Thank you

Hello

Indeed, SolidWorks in its CAD part will not really be appropriate. For animations you should better use SolidWorks Composer, but always the same it's made for "mechanical" amination.

So in your case I would turn more to software specialized in animation such as 3DSMAX, BLENDER, MAYA or other.

Hello Blender is free and it's easy to import SolidWorks files into it. Here is a tutorial for transferring from SolidWorks: http://www.lynkoa.com/tutos/3d/rendu-avec-blender-et-solidworks

And some tutorials for Blender: http://youtu.be/4r7p1ocBRuQ http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rZC8i7nq32k

So the best solution is to do my 3D on Solidworks and then do the animation and rendering on blender?

Solidworks is not made to do what I ask. After several searches on forums... I can't create mini-movie style animations

There is the switch to blender which can be interesting, but there are a lot of modifications to be made on the part, especially to close the surfaces.

The easiest way is to switch directly to Blender for the animations
