Flattening lines and curves on a curved surface

Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to flatten lines and curves of the same plane on a curved surface in Auto-CAD?

Hello

I think you can use the "ProjectGeometry" function.

If what you want is to project your logo on the piece, it should work.

On the other hand, your logo must be made of lines and curves.

Hello

I confirm Paille1384's answer.

Projecting is not the solution

in fact it's as if I was unrolling a curved surface but the other way around!

I don't know if I'm making myself understood?

Hello

In fact, if I understand correctly, you would like to draw the imprint of the logo on the curved surface as if you were sticking a sticker that would therefore fit the shape of the support. Is that it?

In this case, I don't believe that this is possible with AutoCAD other than by doing it manually in constructive geometry.

Otherwise, you can possibly use the projection method by cutting your logo (in 3 or 4 for example) and positioning the sections perpendicular to the support with the gaps that go well. It won't be perfect but it will be close to what you want.
