Hello
I'm looking for a look that represents the meshes of a filter?
The best thing would be to have an appearance that you could adjust (like the knurling function ) to increase or decrease the space between the stitches.
Do you know how it is possible to do this?
Perhaps, by chance :), someone already has a filtration sieve appearance library?
Thank you in advance
Hello
look here because Photoview is actually a light version of MODO
http://community.thefoundry.co.uk/asset/materials/index.aspx?page=0
See here how to customize materials https://www.visiativ-industry.fr/personnaliser-materiau-solidworks/
Otherwise, if you have at least the 2017 version and you're under maintenance, you have free access to Visualize and there you can easily create your own textures. https://blogs.solidworks.com/tech/2017/12/create-realistic-textures-solidworks-visualize.html
Kind regards
Hello;
Why not use the appearance:
Metal -> Steel->link chain.
Can you adjust your characteristics in the advanced appearance tab?
In answer to Zozo_mp: it seems to me that you need to be under a Premium license (at least) to get Visualize (although under license there is probably a way to negotiate with your supplier...).
Kind regards.
