I want to modify an STL scan of a part on Solidworks in order to make drafts but when the part is open on the software, we cannot do any function or modification on it. No face is detected... Could you help me please?

It will be worth a minimum of information, such as the version of SW you are using and possibly screenshots.
You may have the 3D interconnect enabled (see option, at the very bottom Import then first checkbox at the top) normally there should even be a logo on the body in question that indicates it.
Check if the import is in volume or surface as well.
