Is it possible to make an assembly constraint between a part and a sketch made in an assembly?

Yes. You can select elements of the sketch for constraints.
You can even create planes, points, axes...

Under Solidworks it is possible so it must also be possible with Solidedge: since these are very similar software from the point of view of functionality
