Attach an image in Draftsight without losing the reference

Hi all 

On the folder cover page, I need to place different logos, 

To insert the images, size them no worries, but when sending the plans by email, all the logos lose their reference.

Is there a way to definitively "embed" an image in a cartridge?

The only solution I found is to insert a Bitmap image like this:

Menu > Inserting > Object... > Create a new bitmap image >

Then paste the image into the PaintBrush window that appears.

Not very practical, but it has the merit of embedding the image and keeping it in the DWG file.

If the image is not at the correct ratio (vertical/horizontal), choose "Lock Span Ratio: NO".

Hi all

I'm not sure, but probably you'll have to put the image in another folder, e.g. on the desk before attaching it to the plan.

In this way I was able to attach *.png files.

Have you tried inserting the images as OLE objects instead of as BMP?

Your desktop path will not be the same as the desktop as the recipient of the message, so the link will be incorrect.
