Hello
I created a custom basemap template with the field referencing the name of the file to be outlined.
When from this file, I do "create a drawing from this file" and I choose my model, Solidworks opens the drawing with the field referring to the file but I have no views in the view palette!!!
How can this problem be remedied???
Attached is a screenshot of the drawing with the blank view palette.
Thank you in advance for your help

Hello
You have to start from the 3D part to open the MEP by making a file and create a new drawing from the part or via the keyboard shortcut that is written next to it (ctrl-d for my part.) Or when you are in your empty MEP you go to where there should be your views to integrate and you click at the top on the 3 small dots to go and get your part to integrate and your views will appear immediately.

That's all I did, but it still doesn't work
Which version are you in and can you share a phony piece with an MEP so we can take a look?
Thank you for your help, finally I solved the problem myself by saving a new model from an old drawing that worked.
This is my previous drawing file that was undoubtedly corrupted.
Thank you again for your answers
