Hi all

Do you know of a FREE library (yes, it's the crisis) of blocks to make pneumatic drawings in drawing on SolidWorks?

So far, to make the pneumatic diagrams, I use PNEUFLUID, a software provided by Pneumax, very complete, but a bit heavy; and the one included in SolidWorks, more hydraulics-oriented, doesn't suit me, there aren't all types of valves, or you have to build them yourself, too tedious.

Have you looked at TracePart (I.C.S. TraceParts Classification> Fluidics and General Purpose Components > Schematic Symbols) or 3DContentCentral?

But I'm looking for a library to install locally, a bit like a toolbox, but dedicated to the drawing of pneumatic diagrams.

Hello

To make our hydraulic diagrams we use VIsio. This software is much more suitable than SolidWorks for making electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic diagrams.

It contains a basic library that can be customized.

We had tried SolidWorks for the schematics but the creation is tedious and the modification is even worse...

You can test Visio for 60 days here.

On the sites mentioned, you can load the templates locally and thus build your library as and when you need it.

In the end, I'm going to build it myself, largely with the link to the DWGs that #GT22 gave me.

Unless new answers arrive... That's why I'm going to leave the question open for a while longer.
