Hello
I regularly retrieve STEP files and the import diag usually works fine.
On the attached document, I can't remove the errors in order to create a volume.
Can you help me? Explain the process to me?

Hello
put the STEP in the post so that we can help you.
Hello
few people on this site have the Solidworks 2017 version , post a file from an earlier version or a step, you can also illustrate your question with images.
I reiterate the previous posts +1 @ all 2
A picture is worth a thousand words
and it is understandable in all languages and by all
and all SW version and all logs
So posting images is so much more effective to get a maximum of answers
or a file that can be used by all
thank you @+
Hello
In the diagnosis of import, there is a discontinuity. If we look at where it is (by clicking on it) we can see very clearly that a face is missing in a radius. This area must therefore be removed or corrected.

Re
In fact I right-clicked "delete discontinuity", then right-click "repair discontinuity" and it worked.

Hello
Great news who knew that with 2016 you can open 2017?????
May the Force be with you
Super amazing @ OBI WAN
It must be a mistake that will surely be fixed on the new sp ;-)
there are some who how to say are going to be very very soapy ;-)
@+ ;-)
Re
It's been 2 or 3 versions that the SP5 of a year can open the next year but not in modification.
@+
Not sure because to remember with the 2015 sp5 I couldn't open a 2016.
may the force be with you.
Yes @obi wan indeed except in 2015.
so it's only with the SP5 that we can visualize the future version +1
ditto
2102 SP5 Visualizes SW2013
2013 SP 5 Visualizes 2014
2014 sp 5 visualizes2015
2015 SP 5 Visuals No SW 2016
2016 SP 5 Visualizes 2017
@+ ;-)
No, I think it happened either in 2013 or in 2014, not before
For me it existed only once with the 2014 SP5.
May the force be with you.
