Block the Direction of a Colidworks Sketch Dimension

Hello I am on solidworks 2015 

I have a sketch that varies between 0 and 4 with a side 

The problem is that at certain points my rating changes direction 

I wouldn't want to put a value of type 0.0000001 preferably or a sketch 

do you know how to block the direction of a hill??

Can you give us a screen print of your sketch with the coast?

Your sketch is probably not constrained enough. Add an orientation constraint to it in relation to the origin (horizontality for example) or draw your sketch offset from the origin and then add a dimension that you change to 0.

You can make a construction line a little further and vary the dimension in relation to the construction line, it will prevent solidworks from changing the direction.
