Block on solidworks

Hi @GT22

So there!!   BOOM!! we're playing in the big leagues. It's Topchef-masterchef-top moumoute combined. It's worth 43/20 a job like that. (Zozo admiringly)

I get rid of SW, I buy myself some petanque balls and I go to the swimming pool because deep down I would look less stupid.

What a work, it's clean from A to Z, it's beautiful, the shapes are perfect.
I knew intuitively when you could do a perfect job.

Unfortunately I don't know the surface so I did beginner level.

A small friendly remark though. The department is missing, which was the main difficulty for me.

@ Zozo

stop stop you make a lot ;-) I'm going to blush with shame ;-)

It is not only the surface for the projected sketches which is in surface

since I created a surface to connect the 2 parts

the rest is just volume

for the rays which is for you the main difficulty

you just have to make fun of the holidays and it goes in theory very well

see attached file I enlarged the holidays X 2

Another effort because the radius between the different smoothing is larger.

It is perhaps by putting a 45° elbow at the end of the straightening (which fortunately is a tube)  that the best result should  be obtained. Indeed, you have to combine two rays that are not supposed to match properly. The smoothing guide curve must be modified

It should work since afterwards you make a symmetry.

The only problem is that it makes a hole in the joint between the smoothing differences.

That's why in my model the inner radius is calculated to match the outer radius of the other extrusion.

I definitely prefer your model.

you can if you wish to change all the rays as you wish

but it is clear that the diameter of the smoothing must not be exceeded

otherwise it doesn't work

yes I did it via a half piece since it's an exact symmetry

Now it is also possible

to radiate differently, it is enough to shift the symmetries

so leave a day between the rooms and recreate the junction of the 2 pieces

Sketch each side and create guided curves

and finish with X smoothing

Hello! :)

Thank you very much for your message:)

I can't open your files since I'm on SW2015 so I'm downloading the 2017 right now because I'm very curious to see how you did :)

I didn't have the courage to watch Monday I caught a good cold pff I'm going to miss summer xD

Ben! Uh!

My files are in 2018 but with the tutorial you should get there with your version.

hi

so I looked at your files with SW2017 it still works^^

low I can't change the rounding lol.

I've already made a print to test it's not great but it allows you to see a little bit in real ^^
