Hello, is it possible in a parts only bill of materials not to see the parts of a sub-assembly

In your assembly where you want to hide the parts, you go to configuration manager, right click on the property, BOM options and hidden.

This will hide the parts that depend on this assembly.

Thank you for your feedback

What I'm trying to do is that my commercial parts in assembly form don't appear as a single part in the BOM, and that's in any higher-level assembly

To explain:

If assembly A composed of part B and C

If you drag assembly A into another assembly and you do the nomenclature, with

Show you'll see:

Has

B

C

With Cacher you will only see A (example a pneumatic cylinder where you don't want to see the body and the rod of the cylinder.)

With Promote, you'll see B and C but not the A.

On the other hand, if you have several configurations in your assembly, you have to do it for each configuration.

But otherwise in each new assembly or you will slip your assembly A the parts will be shown, hidden or promoted as checked.

Thank you

This is exactly what I am looking for. It's just that I didn't understand well.
