Hello, can we convert a Sketchup file with the .skp extension in Solidworks 2017?

Hello, I downloaded files in Sketchup format in .skp extension but I can't open them even after converting them to step with another 3D software (Rhino)

Is there a way to convert them to be able to open them and work with them on Solidworks (2017 version).

Can you post the skp and the step obtained that we are trying?

the step is OK when converted from Rhino to surface mode and not mesh mode.

Thank you gt22 I depend on an IT department in my company and can't install software but I'm going to ask them to install the software and I'll do the test.
