Good evening here.
I want to design a machine with a hydraulic system (cylinder, distributor, regulator, pump, etc.) with solidworks.
Is there a library for these different components or do I have to draw them all?
In short, how do you do it?
Good evening
Most suppliers offer fairly accurate CAD models in the right reference. Once loaded, you just have to assemble them in your ASM. On the other hand, there is no possibility to do animation, even manually, except to add elements such as the jack rods.
On the other hand, this is the detailed circuit with all the symbols you want, it's a different story.
Can you specify what exactly you are looking for ;-)
Kind regards
I want to make a detailed circuit with all the components (let's stay at the level of 3d first) mentioned in my question
Hello @Marius Trésor NGUEPI_1
already at the base to make a schematic diagram
After defining all components
then either you find the components in the libraries given by our friend @d.roger
or from the providers if he has the convertible 3D modem
Otherwise they still need to be modeled but you need the right refs and not always simple without the product in front of the eyes and in the hands
there are often errors (intentional) by the manufacturers

Thank you for your help
Not much to add to what my distinguished colleagues have said.
I would just add that in general, it is rarely essential to have an extremely detailed representation of this kind of equipment, the goal being to have a footprint and the location of the bindings.
Do not hesitate to contact by phone/email the technical sales departments who sometimes have access to databases that are not on the web.
Don't forget that a certain number of equipment are interchangeable between brands, so what is not available from one can be found from another...
Just for the pleasure of contradicting @Zozo_mp , sometimes cylinders are modeled in a simplified way but still in several parts, especially at Festo.
