Hi all
Following the installation of the latest version of drafsight (2018 SP2) on a new laptop (ASUS VIVOBOOK I7, SSD and HDD) I hear a high-pitched noise in the PC during the operation of Daftsight... I only have this noise with this software and it attenuates a little when I reduce the performance of the PC (switching to battery only for example).
Do you have an idea of the origin of this sound?

It's not at the level of the fans but I hear this noise under the laptop keyboard.

Thanks for the feedback, it could be from the HDD but I don't understand why this happens only using Draftsight?
Other software (GIS for example) is used and this does not happen...

I'll come back to my post, it seems that this crackling comes from the CPU (which would explain the decrease in noise by lowering the performance). It's surprising because I only have this noise with draftsight, and not with other software (QGIS, AUTOCAD...).
