Hello
I find myself facing a problem with Solidworks when designing a part.
I created a plastic part in CAD that I want to launch in production today.
So here I am, in the middle of modifying to create my remains.
Except that... I created a draft on 2 parallel sides (see attached file), one is perfect, the other is all buggy...
I tried to:
- Launch my function several times face by face, same result.
- Create my draft in my function, impossible because I start from a thin extrusion to a slightly crooked body.
In short, if anyone has a solution, it will help me a lot.
Thank you!

I must admit that just with the image I have no idea, would you have the model in solidworks format so that we can look at it?

That is to say that I unfortunately cannot communicate this fochier but I try to recreate the bug on a blank part.
I upload it once finished (if of course I can do it!).
I created a "light" version of the piece.
I put it as an attached file. It is the body 16 that is bugging.
Thank you

Hello
Have you tried with a smaller draft just to see if the mistake goes away?
If so, maybe changing the draft face is the solution.
Kind regards
I decreased the boss 34 and changed the draft face.
Is that it??

So in fact I want to do the opposite.
My strip must start from 3 mm to finish... where it ends according to the angle.
The start of my draft should be at the bottom of the extrusion, on the body of the part (and not on the symmetry face).
In addition, I can't change my part thickness (constant thickness obliges).
I reduced my draft on my part to 0.7° and it works.
Why, no idea...
Time for me.
I have tried something else;
I have brought the draft plan closer to the aximum. I feel like it's better

Well I did some tests, obviously the problem is bigger than you might think.
Indeed, if you do tools, check on the component you can see that the body is topologically incorrect (it has errors)
going back up in the creation tree the first function that generates a topology error is the conges 36 and decreasing its value from 10 mm to 9mm I no longer have a geometry error on the other hand you have to take the tree back because the following function goes into error

Super!
I think SW must be bugging to the limit of negative draft.
But indeed, by approaching the plan, it works :)
Thank you very much in any case, I will be able to continue my work.

Thanks Fthomas, I also checked this and yes, the part is not valid on the test part I uploaded.
It was one of the first versions, only to check the bug live, since the room has changed a lot :)
