Hello, I am the proud owner of a SOLIDWORKS 2016-2017 Education license and an HP laptop from 2016. After installing the software, I notice slowness and bugs. Let me explain: after launching SOLIDWORKS and creating a part, the application displays a black screen on the canvas. I give you the configuration:
HP OMEN 15-ax020nf
Intel Core i5-6300HQ 2.3 GHz
6 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M
I would like to have some clarification on that.

It's not a PC to work with solidworks
it's a gaming PC
The graphics card is not certified
and 6 giga of ram for SW 2016 not far ;-(

Yes I have an integrated chipset (Intel HD 530)
Emulate the OpenGL functions in the system options to check if the problem is with your graphics card. If the problem no longer appears with this option, it is because it comes from your graphics card
