Perimeter calculation

Hello

As a new Solidworks user, I need to know how to calculate the perimeter of a sketch on a section defined with SolidWorks?

Kind regards

It seems to me that by selecting all the entities in the sketch, the result is displayed at the bottom right in the status bar.

Otherwise, a (composite) curve must be formed and measured.

or select all the antities and launch the measurement tool (or vice-versa) and it gives the total length.

Hello, my tip would be to create a plan on which you make a sketch representing the perimeter.

All you have to do is select all the lines and go to "Evaluate" - "Measure"

Correction, for the method in the sketch, after selecting the entities, you have to use the "measure" command

Hello

One method is to select the outline and then go to the Evaluate tab and click on measure

If the "Shaded Sketch Contours" option is enabled in the "Sketching" tab. Just click on the shadow and click on "measure" as in the first solution

Edit: I didn't understand the question. So my answer is not very helpful.
