Calculation of 2-circle intersection area

Hello, I want to calculate the intersection area of 2 circles (mechanical design/part design) => image joite

 

I tried with the caliper (entity/surface measurement only) but I can't do it

In your case:

R² x (((2 x PI)/3) - (Root(3)/2))

That is: 1,228 x R²

You can also extrude the inside of the 2 circles and have the surface, if that's the practical information you're looking for.

In the sketcher workshop there is no surface (so it's normal that the caliper doesn't work).

The surface measurement will only work, as @Alain says. ERP, on one side of the extrusion of the intersection of the two circles. (Be careful, CATIA does not know how to extrude an intersecting sketch) it is first necessary to limit the circles to the only intersection to be measured).

You can also go through the surface workshop and  make a filling surface .

Or as @Yves.T says by calculation.

It all depends (what will this measure be used for, settings?).

I think you're referring to the solution of two circles, one passing through the center of the other in http://villemin.gerard.free.fr/GeomLAV/Cercle/aaaAIRE/Lentille.htm

But finally my problem is different because the circles do not pass through the centers of each one because I would like to calculate the area in order to have a lens of 50% of the surface of a circle.
