It is possible to do "one-piece" simulations on SW Std thanks to the SimulationXpress analysis wizard.
However, it's still pretty basic.
To simulate a complete assembly or for more advanced results, as @fthomas says, you need the SWSimulation add-on.

How do I use solidworks Simulation? I am looking for a document or tutorial that can help me use SolidWorks Simulation.
There is a simulationXpress tutorial present in Solidworks in the "?" menu and then "Solidworks Tutorials".

There are also tutorials for simulation not only xpress, but provided you have SolidWorks Premium or simulation Pro or SImulation Premium.
