Hello
I want to be able to choose or even impose a file extension during my search.
My need is when searching to find only the slddrw.
Thanks in advance

Hello
Probably interesting information in the results of the challenge organized some time ago:

Hello
If you search with solidworks by making file open by default you will only see solidworks extensions. If you do a search from the explorer in your folders you put yourself in detail view and when you hover the mouse over the "type" tab an arrow appears, click on it and a filter and proposed. You just have to check the extensions that interest you.
may the force be with you.
Hello
Totally agree with OBI WAN...
Thank you gentlemen for your answers,
However, my condition is for a viewer so no solidworks, no SW explorer.
I need to do a search on a viewer interface and allow you to view only the plans.
Thank you
PS: I already have a solution but it requires two manipulations
Normally in your search card you have the name of the file. If instead of searching for xxxx you search for xxxxx.SLDDRW it should only bring you the drawings (at least in the search via the full search because otherwise if the file name is stored without the extension it's dead).
S inon you can add the Combobox of the complete search in your custom search card:
Here you don't search on a variable that you have defined but on the filenames stored by EPDM (and there you can enter the extension in the search)
Hello
You can create a search map favorite.
For example, you take your full search card, you specify in the name field ".slddrw", and the other search criteria and then you save your search favorite.
It's very practical on a daily basis. I have one for example so that in one click I can see the files I have extracted.

It's in English, but the image is enough! :)
