Catia v5: Show textures

I'm wondering if it's possible to display textures on created views. CATDrawing

Thank you all!!

Hello

There's probably the solution here:

http://www.mcadcentral.com/catia-drawing/162-inserting-jpeg-file-into-catia.html

A priori you have to use Sketch Tracer to display the images in 3D, see here:

http://abdou.jaballah.free.fr/Ressource%20CATIA/souris/SketchTracer.pdf

Then use the shaded image mode in the drawing so that it is visible.

If you have designated a material in theory the hatching corresponds to this type of material

See this link among other things Apply a material

https://moodle.univ-tln.fr/pluginfile.php/40797/mod_resource/content/2/LIVRET%2520CATIA%2520V5.pdf

See page 25

Unless you're looking to have a rendered effect on a drawing?

Hello

It is possible to display in realistic rendering mode with the colors of the 3D but I don't know a method to really get the textures.

It is ok.......... but still lacks the texture and again; I see that you have the realistic mode only on the ISO view!!!!! ...

Just for the record, I did the example on an ISO view but the option is available on any view.

Hello

I don't have all the CATIA modules and I didn't manage to display the texture even in view (images).

Maybe the module
