I don't understand why all the links in my chain don't follow the trajectory....
However, it seems to me that I have ticked the right options (or not !!):
By the way, I thought that under SW 2014 the transmission chains were made by themselves.... I must have been dreaming.

Hello
You have to tick "offset curve".

PS: in 2015 there is a new chain repetition function which allows in addition to setting the said chain in motion...

I also tested by setting "offset curve ", but it doesn't change anything.

Ha yes I tested on your files it doesn't work?

PS in 2015 it works by itself
Hello
Is the repetition based on an "adjusted spline" curve? (itself resulting from the conversion of the initial trajectory that has been converted)
see the attached methodology that describes this process; the screenshots are from a 2008 version of Solidworks but the options are the same.
Personally I don't model the links of the chains but it works well on chains with cleats

I don't know if it plays a role, but rather than going through a spline, maybe it would be interesting to use the "composite curve" that Joss told us about elsewhere.
