Hello

Very good news, it will allow me to take care of several elements. In my case my participation should have been good for this weekend, but we're not going to say no to another week!

Thank you

Happy creating!

Hello

Unfortunately, I won't participate in the contest (I know it's hard for you, but " don't cry no " because there will be a winner anyway) because for the system I'm thinking of, solidworks is almost useless because 98% of it is electronics and software. I would need to have Visualize to show the system in operation.

It turns out that I use the Old Enterprise Space mouse on a daily basis and most of the features duplicate the same features in solidworks with the mouse/screen shortcuts. As a result,  I only use the Fit key which recenters the object in the center of the active screen. If I had to buy a 3D mouse again, I'd settle for the SpaceMouse Wireless (or the Croq$oft surface dial that I use on my portable workstation with touch screen).
In addition, the space mouse has a big disadvantage, which is that not everyone has the same hand size or finger length. If small hand and fingers not very long and a little big then you have to let go of the central paddle to click on the buttons. Even I, who have big hands, have to let go of the paddle, to go over it without touching it.
What would the mouse be like (if @greg want to make it I give it the CdC)?

Well, it would be the putative child of a mouse pad and a touch tablet from which the tactility has not been removed on certain areas and of a haptic detector for certain features such as Esc
For this TaTaR ™ © ® Reconfigurable Touch Mat, each zone having a dedicated feature per software, the user will be able to simply configure each zone. This makes it possible to refine according to the size of the hand (by bringing or moving away from the center certain additional functionalities according to the needs of each trade.

For example, in the 2020 version and > it is possible to draw a freehand piece and dimension it with a stylus on a touch screen, then when you validate Poof ! The part appears as if it had been drawn from sketches, extrusions etc...
So in the case of the TaTaR ™ © ® we could use either a stylus or a finger or a pencil, but this newlook mouse would not work for wet finger solutions, nor for solutions that we put back on the carpet!

ETC....    ETC.

Kind regards

 @Coralie

I would have liked to have had time but really too much more work than I had a great idea for once.

I think I would need 30-hour days to get out of it lol.

I'm trying this weekend (if I can) because it's already full.

may the force be with you.
