Internal chat on 2D

Hello

I have a little question, I'm trying to know if there is a way to have some kind of chat on SLD files*

in fact it could allow exchanges between draftsman / CDP / Validator.

Personally, I am a validator and some of my cartoonists produce a lot of "waste". To this day I put notes out of frame to ask them to correct points in the plan, but I imagine that a chat window on the task pane for example would be more practical. something internal of course

Am I dreaming, is it conceivable, or does it already exist?

There's already the "design log": you just have to activate it and use it -> check it out of the help

I'm going to try to set up the design journal that I think will allow me to do what I want.

Regarding the marking from 2020, I'm still in 2017 so I guess not applicable.

Hello, you could also use Labels if you work in PDM:

For the moment the design journal responds more to my needs.

In fact I comment on the corrections to be made to the plans that I have to validate, and there is sometimes a lot of waste on these plans. So I need to open up sometimes.

For the marking I am unfortunately still in 2017 so if the function appears in 2020 it is too short for me.

For the labels I just looked but the text box seems light to me and I don't know if it's very conducive to conversation.

I was hoping maybe more for a mycadtools with an SMS or Whatsapp window on the side. I have this on my ERP see attached file (on the right of the screen)

if it doesn't exist, Visiativ, here is a tool to be developed.

In the end, we started with SW's comment function.

But the problem is that once opened, this window no longer allows you to navigate on the map.

Maybe I'll try the design log function.

I'm always looking for other solutions if you have of course.

Otherwise use one outside of solidworks like teams or other, with screenshot and annotation with a handover.

I had thought about it, but I wanted something that was related to the file

we have 20000 PNs and we add a hundred every month.

on the other hand if anyone knows if it is possible to replace the Word of the design journal with a One note file I'm interested, simpler for the addition of checkboxes or small icons like important attention etc etc...
