Hello

When installing SolidWorks 2015, I get the following message in the Windows 7 Eventviewer.

Ending a Windows Installer transaction: C:\64bit\SOLIDWORKS\SolidWorks.Msi. Client Process Id: 2468.

 

The installation did not complete.

What does this ID mean: 2468

There are the most common installation errors, but yours is not one of them...

 

Are you migrating from 2014 to 2015, or is it a new installation?

Try to disable your anti-virus, you never know.

Thank you for your answers.

      .PL Yes, the account used is indeed the admin of the machine.

     Bart: It's a migration from 2012 to 2015.

I did a 100% manual and antivirus-free installation based on an administrative image on Friday morning. No problem encountered.

On the same machine and under the same conditions, except that I launched the " startswinstall.exe " file from a batch file
Call startswinstall.exe
The installation did not complete.

 

If anyone has an idea, thank you in advance.

Hi all

 

The problem has not really been solved but as many elements have changed, such as the deployment mode which was not done at the start of the machine but once the user session was opened, for example.
