I'm (very) interested in the CloneComponents utility but even more interested in it if it could process assemblies.
Do you know if a "CloneAssembly" will exist?

Yes, it will exist.
It will be the same utility (CloneComponent) but the new version will be able to process sub-assemblies, the release is scheduled before the end of the year
