I have to make an animation of a few seconds on solidworks, but the Microsoft codec is not great and it jumps as predicted...
I found this link on the forum (http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/cao/compression-animations-avec-ou-sans-rendu-realiste), but I don't know where to place the unzipped codecs, so I downloaded the xvid codec as an executable here (https://www.xvid.com/download/), but when recording the video I still don't have the possibility to choose another codec than Microsoft's.
Your link is very @Gt22 but I'm not addicted when they talk about jerks. To have several Test and Solidworks notifies it before encoding, when there are vacuum phases (without animation, without objects that change place), the video displays "black plates", it jumps with black images. But all the times when there is a change of position, I don't have this problem.
I can change the resolution or the number of frames per second but it doesn't change anything,
I have to keep a certain number of images too because there are subsets that must open in 1 instant. ..
I've already had this kind of problem, it's due to a view where there is no movement (the SolidWorks message is clear). I got around the problem by putting a permanent movement of my scene. For example, if you want to show a jack that comes out, a pose, that goes in, the problem is the pose (period of inactivity), on the other hand, if throughout your scene you put even a very slight movement , you no longer have a pose, so no more image that jumps.
Hello OBI WAN, I see very well what you mean, you'll have to find something to put on... Maybe a rat? Who sneaks in? ...:) that said, I don't understand why some people have managed to solve their problem with the codes by finding them in the list...
@GT22, if I said that, it's not a question of being competent or not... I don't doubt his knowledge, it's just that in my case, my bug is not the one I really suffer... OBI WAN has mi a screen with a sentence highlighted in yellow... that's exactly what happens to me... I'll come back to my problem later and let you know if I find a solution.
I uninstalled the codecs yesterday before leaving and then reinstalled and this morning when I restarted the machine, I got them... I restarted yesterday ....; / Sometimes I don't understand solidworks ... in the video compression tab on the page after ... I had the wrong screen the first time...
Well since I've already had the problem, I'll do like you. I was on your link to download but I saw that there are 2 mirror1 and 2 links. Can you tell me which link to use.
