Animation Codec

Hello

I have to make an animation of a few seconds on solidworks, but the Microsoft codec is not great and it jumps as predicted...

I found this link on the forum (http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/cao/compression-animations-avec-ou-sans-rendu-realiste), but I don't know where to place the unzipped codecs, so I downloaded the xvid codec as an executable here (https://www.xvid.com/download/), but when recording the video I still don't have the possibility to choose another codec than Microsoft's.

I specify that I am SW14

Can anyone inform me?

Hello

I advise you to download a codec pack to install like K-Lite:

Sorry, no I couldn't post the video because there is a certain confidentiality but a screen for

show you that despite the installation of different codecs, nothing is displayed...:/

I also installed the KLIte pack but nothing either

already it seems to me that you have a lot of second image

and your definition is huge, isn't it?

Your link is very @Gt22 but I'm not addicted when they talk about jerks. To have several Test and Solidworks notifies it before encoding, when there are vacuum phases (without animation, without objects that change place), the video displays "black plates", it jumps with black images. But all the times when there is a change of position, I don't have this problem.

I can change the resolution or the number of frames per second but it doesn't change anything,

I have to keep a certain number of images too because there are subsets that must open in 1 instant. ..

the void = "period of inactivity"

Hello

I've already had this kind of problem, it's due to a view where there is no movement (the SolidWorks message is clear). I got around  the problem by putting a permanent  movement of my scene. For example, if you want to show a jack that comes out, a pose, that goes in, the problem is the pose (period of inactivity), on the other hand, if throughout your scene you put even a very slight  movement , you no longer have a pose, so no more image that jumps.

May the force be with you.

Did you restart the software and the pc after installing the codecs?

Hello OBI WAN, I see very well what you mean, you'll have to find something to put on... Maybe a rat? Who sneaks in? ...:) that said, I don't understand why some people have managed to solve their problem with the codes by finding them in the list...

 Hello Fab camp

To tell the truth I didn't know that you could add codecs, I'll look into it when I have 2 minutes.

@ Fab you have the strict right to disagree

but the poster is none other @ Paul LOURY........... (Master Paul)

so if he says that it's not for nothing it seems to me

for a little idea

Everything was done via SolidWorks except the sound

See this little video among others

@+ ;-)

@GT22, if I said that, it's not a question of being competent or not... I don't doubt his knowledge, it's just that in my case, my bug is not the one I really suffer... OBI WAN has mi a screen with a sentence highlighted in yellow... that's exactly what happens to me... I'll come back to my problem later and let you know if I find a solution.
