How do I speed up Solidworks?

Hello

I take the liberty of asking you the question because I can't find a solution to my problem.

I'm currently working on a part that has more than 1500 faces (without the leaves) so you can imagine that when I want to launch a function my Solidworks it goes into "no longer responding" mode!!

I have a PC that was recommended to me

proc : intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU W3690 @ 3.47GHz 3.46GHz

Memory: 20.0 GB

graphics card: NVIDIA Quatro 4000

I installed the driver update recommended by solidworks

Here you go!!

Do you have a solution to offer me?

Hello

Do you use the blocking bar? It can help

Already take the Evaluate tab and the statistical tool

which will make it possible to understand where it is slow and modify as much as possible

Here are the stats it gives me but the times indicated is not good because after a while Solidworks puts it in "unresponsive" mode and it can last up to 1 hour or even 2 hours:(

we can see your piece in pictures since we don't have the same versions

Sketches 22.4.15 are already a problem

And I'm not even talking about your holidays 49.72.48.47.

nor of your hull 6

Do you have a lot of repetition?

See these tutorials

Good evening, the blocking bar could be a solution.

We can also perhaps create the fillets in the 2D sketches rather than 3D to see if the reconstruction is faster.

Finally, we can try to put the SolidWorks process in high priority in the task manager.

Here is an image of the room

and the statistical function that goes with it

I'm going to try with the bar but I have an inconclusive memory about it...

I'll keep you posted:)

Thank you for your answers:)

I will try all these solutions as soon as possible but indeed the accumulation of these options should significantly improve my problem.

I am resolved on this question but will keep you informed if you wish;)

Have a nice day
