How to improve export for assemblies saved as parts

Hello everyone,

I often need to make STEP files of my products to send them to my customers so for this I save my assembly in .prt / outer faces then in step. Except that saving in .prt made me lose a lot of details to the point of even modifying the outline of the part. Do you have any solutions or recommendations?

I tried to change the options in "Export" it doesn't change anything!

Thanks for the info, I took a look at this tab but I can't create an empty shell (without the internal surfaces/volumes) as proposed in .prt / exterior geometry.
