I want to give appearances to an assembly, I manage to make a look painted with stucture with the right RAL but I would like to apply a material from this site: http://community.thefoundry.co.uk/asset/materials/index.aspx?page=25, how to do it? There is an lxp but in photoview360 it doesn't apply much to me:(
Maybe it's like fonts, you have to download it, put it in the Photoview textures folder and then install it by clicking on it?

For the texture, either you find an image on the net, or you draw a room and you make a flat image.
The advantage of doing it yourself is that you can manage the step to have a good stop of the texture.

Yes, the lxp is a texture from Modo Luxology.

Of course, you must be under a Solidworks maintenance contract, premium version and connect to the Solidworks portal.
I've used this kind of texture before without any problems. Some pass, others don't... You have to try another similar one.
