How to assign multiple materials to the same part

Hello

I am currently doing an internship in biomechanics and I am modeling an elbow with one of the ligaments that we have to test using Catia.

To do it well, it would be necessary to assign several materials to the ligament in order to make a kind of transition of mechanical properties, namely bone, bone-ligament, ligament, bone, bone.

Is it possible to do this? If so, how?

Effectively, add a part body (insert menu) for each element and assign the materials by selecting the bodies instead of the part.
