How do you assign a global variable for the quantity of a part?

  • I am working on a design configuration topic on the Solidworks platform
  • How do you assign a global variable for the quantity of a part?
  • I have a room with variable width and length that rests on counter-support wedges , I want the number of these wedges to vary with the width and length of the part. For example, if the length is between 50 and 100, the number is 5, and if the length is greater than 100, the number is 7.
