I have a Solidworks Premium license.
Normally this license should give me access to the simulation license add-on.
However, by going to Tools/Add-ins, the Simulation add-in does not appear in the list.
The list of Solidworks Premium add-ins is the same as when I had a Standard license.
Why is that? How do I access the Simulation add-in?

Maybe simply the add-in was disabled out of the installation and therefore not accessible.
Or it's not an add-on but a function and in this case you just need to activate the right toolbar.
But some simulation specialists will be able to answer with certainty, having only the standard version.

My colleagues can access the Simulation add-in with the Premium license, but I cannot.
So I think it's a complement, not a function.

I confirm what @FUZ3D says (whom I salute)
It was at the time of installation that the installation request was not checked. On the other hand, you must inquire with your administrator because it depends on the number of licenses purchased for the simulation. Indeed, the Simulation license is separate, you can have the SW version but not the simulation which in fact is a separate license.
Look here at how to do it, the easiest way is to activate an update and check the right boxes. Be careful, however, because the procedure between individual workstations and multiple installations is not the same, if only because of the administrator rights, which are not the same.
Do you have a maintenance contract? if YES call the hot line they will guide you ;-)

Indeed, I called the hotline who took over and ticked the right boxes in SDW manager. and now it works!
