How to change the language in SW

Hello

I modified my SW installation by checking the Italian and French languages in addition to English. I used it in Italian, I now want to switch it to French, I wanted to know how to switch from Italian to French in a simple way?

Thank you for the answer.

Good evening

I guess it's English you want (Corsican egg)

Tools > >General system option > check the box << menu in English>>.
You have a second option which is to use the names of functions and files in English.

This is the only language you will access since the licenses are by country (as far as I understand).
So for the Baluchistanait, it's not in the license France.

Kind regards

Small clarification, a small restart is necessary but normally the solution given is the right ;)

What I want is to switch from Italian to French or vice versa whenever I want. And in the SW options he only offers English. There is no menu or you can directly choose the installed languages.

Wow, it's getting more complicated...

Managing 2 languages is fine but beyond that, I don't know how SW can manage that.

The solution mentioned above allows you to switch between 2 installed languages.

If there is a third, no idea...

Maybe a semblance of an answer!!

Apparently the change of language would be related to the regional options of windows to see !!

I confirm what Bastien says, the language used in SolidWorks depends on the regional options in Windows, if you switch the Windows language back to French and the Solidworks French language package is installed: when you start SolidWorks it will switch to French.

There is no option to change the language in SolidWorks except to English, which is a default Install language in addition to the language set in Windows.

So you need a PC with Windows in french and another with Windows in Italian... ^^

No Tomalan => Windows has several languages installed and even if it wasn't the case the simple fact of changing the language in the regional options (even if it doesn't affect the Windows interface) comes to modify the language folders used by SolidWorks

Hello

Apparently this question is successful.

A little tutorial on this subject would be good, wouldn't it? Who is taking the plunge?  ^^ :)

I'm doing this to you tonight;)
