How do I change the appearance of functions?

Hello

I designed a concrete slab in which I have grooves and others. I would like to design this slab in one piece with the grooves. So I have 2 functions overall. Is it possible to have 1 appearance for each function?

Thank you

Yes, just select the faces and give them a different color

Hello

You can even do it on the functions directly so you don't have to select all the faces one by one. (right-click on the function and appearance)

Thank you for your answers.

When I select my function, it applies the appearance to the totality of the functions and not to the said function.

In fact, my problem comes from the fact that I made an extrusions to fill a groove and that the top of the corresponding sketch was collinear with the top of the groove. So I put a very small dimension (0.001mm), thus making my extrusion (in black on the photo) protrude from my groove otherwise solidworks does everything the same color.
When applying colors, care must be taken to select the highest level in appearances and therefore function and not the body!
